Any help is appreciated. I'm unable to download anything now either. I have no seeders and no leechers, nothing is showing up but it shows the arrow that it is downloading but nothing is moving. Some Update eh? I guess now we can't download anything ALL what a pisser.
I know I tried to download some stuff and down it won't work at all either. It sounds like the torrents you've chosen are dead. Try to find a different one. If you have a firewall, make sure you allow BitTorrent in it, else it won't be able to download anything.
I've tried several dif torrents from diff sites; all give a red x. I have not changed any settings, what do I do?
I reinstalled bittorrent; didn't help. I am having the same problem. The torrent isn't dead and I've set my firewall to let BitTorrent in I've been using BitTorrent for years and I still can't download anything. VERY annoying. I doubt that would be the case since we all seem to be having the same problem suddenly.
I am getting the same red everywhere I've been trying to DL a torrent ANY torrent but its. I'm having the same problem, files used to take me a night at the most to download. And we're talking big, game files here. The program indicates that there are plenty of seeders for the desired download but the program is like frozen. Any ideas as to what is going wrong? Try to uInstall your versions of BitTorrent and try to go back to 6.
It helped me with my problems, maybe it will help for you too. Yea I had the same problem after upgrading to 7 I uninstalled several months ago and went back to version 6. Existing user? I have used Utorrent for many years, now all of sudden it won't work. I upgraded to latest Windows 10 and reinstalled Utorrent. It's wierd cause now it installs to Roaming not a file folder. And every torrent I try I get this msg- Error The system cannot find the path write to disk and this one - Error Can't open torrent file "name".
I checked all settings and nothing ie no dowloading. Yet I install another torrent program qBittorent and it works fine. Any ideas? Yes I did just try this but no go. Without rebooting etc, I get up today and nope nothing.
I am using Qbitorrent with no problems. If you want it to do as previous you must install utorrent into same location and make the folder settings to the same file folder locations. Not doing this and utorrent won't be able to Force the torrent to start again as it can't find them.
