Play in multiplayer mode? Unfortunately all of this this is impossible in Stranded Deep. Support for game mods leads to numerous problems and saves corruption. That is why the developers avoid modding for Stranded Deep.
If you have found a mod somewhere for Stranded Deep except ModDB web-site, most likely it is a virus or a scam. The developers from the Beam Team Studio have repeatedly said that mods can result in damage to the game and that you need to spend a lot of hours of testing for any mod to work properly. This is due to the constant change and improvement in the game code, so we should not expect mods for Stranded Deep until its official release.
Since the release of the game in Steam Early Access the crafting system has undergone many changes and now looks very simple and convenient. When you appear in the boat after the crash of the aircraft the training mode will start that will help adapt to the game and build your first fire.
